In life, we are confronted with many situations which challenge our sense of self. We are compelled to grow when we meet those challenges head on. The Will to be True and In the Shadow of the Blackbird relates a story defined by the challenges love, infidelity, loss and change, all elements which affect each of us daily. In a story which ranges from the urban centre of Toronto, the rolling hills of Southern Ontario and the lush tropics of Jamaica, we see two women confront their greatest fears even as they move towards a new life.
Judith, I was the husband of Jeannine Byrd, who is now deceased. I believe it was you who helped us back in 2000 with the salves. Early this week I got an email – purportedly from you, though I have doubts about whether that’s true or not – inviting me to join Twitter. I’m already on Twitter, and suspected that, if you were wanting to connect with me on Twitter, you would have just searched for my name there, instead of mistakenly thinking I wasn’t signed up. My Twitter account was already hacked into twice last year, so I’ve become very cautious about anything from/through Twitter. I did send you a Tweet in response to that emailed invitation supposedly from you, but either you never received it, or – if you Tweeted me back – I missed it.
If the invitation was indeed your doing, please confirm that by replying to my email address listed in this form. If it was not, you may have been hacked.
I hope you are well. Feel free to contact me if you wish. Yours, …..Roger Byrd
Thanks so much Roger for your email. I remember Jeanine so well. I may very well have send out tweets request to my followers and Jeanine’s name is of course still listed on my email site so I do apologize although in the long run I am really happy to have heard from you. My condolences regarding Jeanine I am sure that you miss her very much. Take care and do feel free to contact me at any time regards
Judith
